Crazy

What's the violent monotony
Of those bones in your hair?
This is a new road
I could've sworn I knew
But how am I lost among
These maddening moons?
These cloud spines claiming
To be the re-run's song

Creases between lovers’ mouths
We need it like we hate it
What could you have had?
What could you leave again?
Everything ends but
Nothing ever changes

The Jesus static on the radio
Clings to subconscious minds
As nostalgia does to living
When death comes through
But how could we start
When we know the end
Is coming much too soon
To claim our silent youth

Creases between lovers’ mouths
We need it like we hate it
What could you have had?
What could you leave again?
Everything ends but
Nothing ever changes
Everything ends but
Nothing ever changes
Everything ends but
Nothing ever changes
Everything ends but
Nothing ever changes

Everything I’ve ever done
Comes back to haunt me
These bones in my hair
That come with each mistake
I repeat for self-proclaimed love
Self-proclaimed hate
Self-hate and self-trust
How many children must I be?
